Where can I download Matchday Call?
Matchday Call is available to download free on the App Store. It requires iOS 26.0 or later. Use the download buttons on this page to get the iPhone app.
Can I explore the app without an account?
Yes. Guest access lets you browse available Matchday, Football and Rankings content. Sign in with Apple or passwordless email to save your XI, submit calls or a Round XI vote, and build your personal record. You can learn the core flow in the guided practice match.
Is Team of the Matchweek the same as my Starting XI?
They are different picks. Your Starting XI is the team you would send out for a particular fixture. Team of the Matchweek, or Team of the Round for cups, is your selection of the best performers across a round. Save your vote while voting is open and compare it with the competition’s consensus.
How are my calls assessed?
A call records what you noticed, the change you proposed and when you submitted it. Matchday Call reviews the available match evidence and shows the resulting assessment. Only settled calls with sufficient evidence contribute to ranked Decision Scores. A pending or limited-evidence call can remain in your history without counting towards your ranking.
Which competitions and match features are available?
The app shows the competitions, seasons and features supported by its current data coverage. Tables, player statistics, video, live visualisations and voting can vary by competition or fixture. Missing or provisional information is labelled in the app, and a post-match review may take time while final data is checked.
Can I follow a match from my Lock Screen?
Matchday Call includes Live Activities and widgets for supported iPhone experiences. Follow your selected match outside the app, and manage match reminders, notifications and Live Activity preferences from settings.
