CURRENT RELEASE PRIVACY SNAPSHOT

LOCAL FIRST.
NO AD TRACKING.

The current app build has no Matchday Call backend, advertising network, third-party analytics SDK, or crash-reporting SDK. Account details, preferences, profile images, and demo match activity remain on your device unless you deliberately use an Apple authentication or system sharing feature.

01

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Matchday Call mobile application, the website at matchdaycall.club, and related services (together, the “Service”). The developer identified as Matchday Call on the App Store product page is responsible for the handling described here.

This policy reflects the current release reviewed on 17 August 2026. Before introducing cloud sync, a production account service, analytics, advertising, subscriptions, or other processing that changes these practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures.

02

Information the app handles

Information stored locally on your device

Depending on the features you use, the app may store the following in local app storage:

  • Account and sign-in state: whether you continue as a guest or are signed in, plus an email address or phone number you enter for the account interface;
  • Profile information: display name, bio, supported club, home league, season preferences, and a profile image you choose;
  • Matchday preferences: reminder, Live Activity, haptic, and experience settings;
  • Match activity: selected lineups, formations, substitutions, tactical calls, timestamps, match reviews, scores, rankings, and badges used to provide the demo experience.

In the current release, Matchday Call does not receive this locally stored information on a developer-controlled server.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple processes the authentication request under Apple’s privacy terms and may provide the app with an account identifier and, depending on your choice, your name or email address. Apple may let you hide your personal email address. The current build records local sign-in status and does not upload the Apple credential or profile information to a Matchday Call server.

Photos you select

If you choose a profile image, the app uses Apple’s system photo picker so you can select a specific image. The selected image is copied into the app’s local storage. The app does not request unrestricted access to your photo library and does not upload the image in the current release.

Information you choose to share

If you use an iOS share sheet to share a Matchday Review, Apple presents the destination apps you choose. The selected destination receives the content under its own privacy policy. Matchday Call does not control the destination and does not automatically receive information about where you shared it.

Website and communications

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any information you include so we can respond. Website infrastructure may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The current early-access form displays an on-device confirmation only and does not submit the entered address to a server.

03

Information we do not collect in the current app

×NO AD IDNo advertising identifier or cross-app tracking.
×NO LOCATIONNo precise or approximate location request.
×NO CONTACTSNo address-book or contact-list access.
×NO AUDIONo microphone or call recording access.
×NO HEALTH DATANo HealthKit, fitness, or medical information.
×NO PAYMENT DATANo in-app purchase or card information.
04

How information is used

Information handled by the Service is used only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide guest browsing, account interfaces, profiles, matchday calls, rankings, reviews, badges, and sharing features;
  • remember your preferences and maintain the experience on your device;
  • authenticate you when you choose an authentication provider;
  • respond to support, privacy, security, or legal requests;
  • protect the Service, enforce our Terms, investigate abuse, and comply with law.

We do not use match activity, profile information, or authentication information for behavioural advertising. We do not use it to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

05

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. The current app does not share personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.

Information may be processed or disclosed only in these limited situations:

  • At your direction: when you choose Sign in with Apple, select a photo, use an iOS sharing destination, or contact support;
  • Service delivery: website hosting, security, or email providers may process the minimum information required to deliver those services under contractual privacy and security obligations;
  • Legal and safety: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or secure the Service;
  • Business changes: in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation, or transfer of assets, subject to notice and continued protection of the information.

Any service provider or related entity given access to user information must provide the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this policy and required by Apple’s App Review Guidelines.

06

Retention and deletion

Locally stored app information remains on your device until you change it, delete your account, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain security and support records, or meet a legal obligation.

Delete your account

MY RECORD→SETTINGS→ACCOUNT CONTROLS→DELETE ACCOUNT

The in-app deletion control removes local profile and sign-in information. A production version that creates server-side accounts must also delete the full server account and associated personal data that is not legally required to be retained. If Sign in with Apple tokens are stored in a future production service, they will be revoked through Apple when the account is deleted.

We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, or protect the integrity of rankings. If retention is required, the information will be limited, access-restricted, and deleted when the obligation ends.

07

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. Because current app information is stored locally, you can exercise many choices directly in the profile, account security, preferences, and account deletion screens.

You may also:

  • continue as a guest for browsing features that do not require a saved account;
  • decline to choose a profile image;
  • manage Sign in with Apple from your Apple Account settings;
  • choose whether and where to share a Matchday Review;
  • contact privacy@matchdaycall.club with a privacy request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify a request to protect your account and other users.

08

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or below the minimum age at which they may consent to an online service in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who cannot lawfully provide consent. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

09

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and current architecture. No device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Keep your device and Apple Account secure and contact us if you suspect misuse.

If future hosted services process information outside your country, we will use lawful safeguards required by applicable data-protection law, such as contractual protections or recognised adequacy mechanisms, and update this policy before that processing begins.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Service, technology, law, or data practices change. We will post the updated policy, revise the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. App Store privacy answers will also be updated so they remain accurate for the released app and any integrated third-party code.
